Fletcher here. So by now I'm sure most of you out there have heard that Britt has taken a sabbatical from m-pact for the next year. He auditioned for a show in London's West End, Thriller Live. This is a Michael Jackson tribute show that's been going on for awhile now, even before his unfortunate and untimely passing. Wouldn't you know it - of course he got the part of Michael! It really is a part he was destined to play. Isn't life ironic? I remember a time when Britt wasn't keen on the comparison people drew between him and MJ. Now he'll be playing him 8 shows a week!

And for the record, there was no drama. We're happy for him. And of course we will miss Britt's immense talent over this next year. But he wants us to go on in the meantime, and so do we! We've brought back an old friend of ours, Greg Whipple. If you don't know who this guy is, he was m-pact's alto many years back. He's featured on 2 and The Caroling Commission. A wonderful guy and an amazing singer. The show goes on!

As for our hopes of an album release sometime in early '10, that looks uncertain. We still have several tracks we finished up. We're figuring out what we want to do with them. I suppose you'll just have to stay tuned here to find out! :) Rest assured we'll still be out there singin' our hearts out. More to come.
